2025 Valentine Trial Result

Good evening,

We had 50 riders at Honeydon today. The sections were a little slippery by the end of the trial. Hopefully you all enjoyed it.

Expert class

Sam Rolls took the win dropping 37 marks and wins the Valentine Trophy

Martyn Rushbrook came in second with 58 marks lost

Simon Nunn took third with 87 marks lost

Expert B class

Chris Koch took the win dropping 3 marks

Nick Wilford came in second with 9 marks lost

Intermediate class

Martin (Bruce) Alderman took the win dropping 45 marks

Marcus Anthony came in second with 63 marks lost

Joseph Ellis took third with 124 marks lost

Clubman class

Aaron Brock took the win dropping 21 marks

Chris Aylott came in second with 27 marks lost

Peter Rushbrook took third with 28 marks lost

Twinshock class

Andy Aldhouse took the win dropping 70 marks

Glen Howard came in second with 72 marks lost

Ashley Rigden took third with 137 marks lost

Novice class

Stephen Roscamp took the win dropping 55 marks

George Dean came in second with 78 marks lost

Richard Osborn took third with 101 marks lost

Sporstman class

Nick Boxall took the win dropping 25 marks

Stephen Brock came in second with 33 marks lost

Robin Davis took third with 51 marks lost

Youth B (Hard Route)

Daniel Adcock won with 108 marks lost

Youth B (Middle Route)

Tommy Goodwin won with 80 marks lost

Youth D (Easy route)

Alba Gill won with 166 marks lost

The club would like to thank the observers for coming out and allowing us to do what we enjoy, the working party for clearing and section plotting, and the landowner for use of the land and finally to all of the riders for supporting the club.

 

 

For the second time in a row we had some glorious weather for the Summer Series Round 2 where 42 riders competed at Balsham Quarry.

2024 Summer series Round 2 Results

Expert Class
Nick Wilford took the win by keeping clean for the whole event
Closely followed by Simon Nunn and Martyn Rushbrook who drew for second with only 1 mark lost

Clubman Class
Aaron Brock, Rob Goodwin and Anthony Slater had a three way tie for the win, all keeping clean

Twinshock class
Craig Crowfoot won by also keeping clean.
Andy Aldhouse came in second on 6 marks lost
Julian Mair came in third on 10 marks lost

Novice Class
Dale Williams won on 5 marks lost (observers cards available on request 😉)
Gavin Prior took second place on 7 marks lost
Mark Richards came third, also with 7 marks lost, the tie was settled on most cleans

Sportsman Class
Gerald Turner took the win on 2 marks lost
Barry Harber took second place with 6 marks lost
Steven Brock came in third with 9 marks lost

Youth B (Hard route)
Daniel Adcok won on 10 marks lost

Youth B (Middle route)
Tommy Goodwin won on 19 marks lost

The club would like to thank the working party for setting out the sections, our fantastic observers and the land owner.
Our next event is the Summer Series Round 3 at Honeydon on the 5^th July, entries will be open this week on the ACU site.
