Brian Stonebridge trial 2026 – Results

The Cambridge Matchless MCC,  Brian Stonebridge Trophy Trial was held on the 1st March.

We got lucky with the weather as the predicted rain held off and we even had sunshine at the end of the day,
One hundred and sixteen riders competed in sections on the 12 mile lap, with a little bit of mud about.

The club would like to thank everyone that played a part in the massive team effort required to run this event. This includes sorting out where the course is going with the landowners, event plans to get permissions from the councils, the admin of the entries (including Sport80 technical support), clearing the route and sections of fallen trees and overgrown footpaths, the working party on the Friday and Saturday for setting out 38 sections, 12 miles of route marking, the signage along the course at farms etc. the car park setup and guidance on where to park, the organisation of the observers, our fantastic observers themselves. Then the collection of all the route marking and sections after the event, the collation of the results, the publishing of the results and the big clean up of equipment that is still to happen. There are too many names to mention but you all know who you are and this event could not be done without the contribution of every single one of you.
