Hoping everybody enjoyed yesterday’s trial. A proper old fashioned trial with plenty of mud and a great job by the course plotters allowing for the amount of rain we had last week. A big thanks also to Mr Witherow for the continued use of this land, all the observers and helpers.
Really nice to see Dave Simon’s family there to receive the Derry-Preston Cobb award and the ‘Whiskey Tumbler’ presented as a thanks for the 40 years as club chairman, Dave will be sorely missed.

Everybody who turned out yesterday and helped set up the sections, more than expected which made the job quicker and easier.
All the observers who stood out in the cold today to make the trial happen and to everybody who helped clear up after the trial.
Dale and Nick for all their input and all the hours Dale has spent to get everybody up to speed with the new Sport80 software the ACU is now using.
Finally all the riders for their support and the kind comments today.
