Round 1 was finally run last Friday with wall to wall sunshine!!!

Thanks to everybody who made this possible, including the landowners, the course plotters and the observers. Having to postpone twice and then having to strim the 3 foot high undergrowth twice was not much fun.
The next round on the 23rd June will also be at Balsham, hopefully not requiring too much strimming (see Events page for details)
Hoping everybody enjoyed yesterday’s trial. A proper old fashioned trial with plenty of mud and a great job by the course plotters allowing for the amount of rain we had last week. A big thanks also to Mr Witherow for the continued use of this land, all the observers and helpers.
Really nice to see Dave Simon’s family there to receive the Derry-Preston Cobb award and the ‘Whiskey Tumbler’ presented as a thanks for the 40 years as club chairman, Dave will be sorely missed.
