On Friday 1st August we had 29 competitors at Balsham Quarry for the fourth and final round of the Cambridge Matchless Summer Series. Rain earlier in the day made the sections very grippy, thankfully the predicted rain during the event stayed away too.

Expert Class
First – Chris Koch took the win on 3 marks lost
Second – Craig Farrer on 7 marks lost
Third – Martyn Rushbrook on 11 marks lost
Clubman Class
First – Anthony Slater came in first on 1 mark lost
Second – Peter Rushbrook on 2 marks lost
Third – Steven Cooper on 3 marks lost, separated by most cleans from the 4th place.
Twinshock Class
First – Julian Mair took the win on 14 marks lost
Novice Class
First – Stephen Roscamp took the win on 15 marks lost
Second – Richard Osborn on 23 marks lost
Third – Robert Molloy on 43 marks lost
Sportsman Class
First – Robin Davis took the win on 1 mark lost
Joint Second – Mark Aldridge and Paul Harvey on 6 marks lost, with the same amount of cleans and dabs
