Results from Friday nights trial Results – 2025 Summer Series Round
The opening round of the Cambridge Matchless Summer Series saw 41 riders at Honeydon in glorious sunshine and although we’ve not had rain for ages we found water in the stream. This made for some tricky sections as the laps clicked down.
Expert Class
First – Craig Farrer took the win on 16 marks lost
Second – Martyn Rushbrook on 36 marks lost
Third – Simon Nunn on 41 marks lost
Clubman Class
First – Joshua Hewitt came in first on 2 marks lost
Second – Daniel Ledger on 6 marks lost
Third – Aaron Brock also on 6 marks lost but with less cleans than the second place
Twinshock Class
First – Chris Koch took the win, keeping clean for the whole trial
Second – Julian Mair on 21 marks lost
Novice Class
First – Stephen Roscamp took the win on 22 marks lost
Second – David Lewis on 28 marks lost
Third – Richard Osborn on 41 marks lost
Sportsman Class
First – Martin (Bruce) Alderman took the win on 11 marks lost
Second – Gerald Turner on 17 marks lost
Third – Robin Davies also on 17 marks lost and loses out with less cleans
